The Way forward

Over the next few months we will be busy running design workshops in local schools and will share the feedback from these sessions with you on this website. We will also be developing the first draft design proposals for each space and then creating a 3D scale model that will be toured around the local area.

We will then be making any changes necessary to the design and submitting it for Planning Permission November 2015.  Any changes and improvements to St Mary’s Church Yard or Kingston Rec will need funding. Funding to build these new facilities is NOT secured.

Once the designs are finalised and planning permission is obtained, Fratton Big Local will work with local partners to try and secure funding to implement these exciting and transformational projects. Watch this space for more updates on the next stages of this exciting project!
