A wild woodland escape where nature leads the play — an award-winning, inclusive landscape adventure for all ages.
Dinton Pastures Country Park
Designed and managed by Davies White Ltd, the Dinton Pastures Nature Play Space is a multi-sensory outdoor play environment inspired by the park’s wild landscape of woodland, meadows, and water. Accessibility is at its core, enabling children of all abilities to climb, explore, and play together in a setting that celebrates nature, adventure, and imagination.

The Dinton Pastures Nature Play Space was one of the first play areas in the UK to achieve accreditation by PiPA, the national scheme for accessible and inclusive outdoor play. It has also received a Landscape Institute Award for engagement and design excellence, and a BALI Award recognising outstanding collaboration and quality of build.

In collaboration with local school groups and families, the design of the Dinton Pastures Nature Play Space was shaped through hands-on woodland craft workshops held during half term. These creative sessions helped ensure the play space reflects the needs and imaginations of children of all ages and abilities. Insights gathered informed the inclusion of sensory-rich features, quiet zones, and accessible structures; resulting in an inclusive, nature-inspired playground where everyone can play, explore, and connect.
